Hey! I’m Laura, the founder of Well Balanced©

I’ve been a nurse for over 10 years and have worked in a variety of settings — from hospitals to clinics to home care. I’ve seen firsthand how much our health impacts every part of our lives.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to health and wellness. Alongside nursing, I grew my passion for fitness and nutrition, eventually becoming a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, and culinary nutrition expert, while diving deeper into women’s health.

But honestly… this isn’t just professional for me. It’s personal too.

I’ve experienced my own struggles with hormones, gut health, anxiety, and feeling disconnected from my body.

I know what it’s like to feel stuck.

To try everything — diets, calorie counting, quick fixes — and still not feel better.

At one point, I realized pushing harder wasn’t the answer.

So I started doing things differently.

I focused on supporting my body through simple, realistic changes to how I ate, moved, and lived. And over time, everything started to shift.

Today, I feel more balanced, more connected, and more in control of my health, without extremes.

Now, I help women do the same.

To feel supported in their bodies, build routines that actually fit their lives, and create results that last — not just for a few weeks, but long-term.
